Kompact AI - Privacy Policy

Welcome to Kompact.AI. We respect the privacy of everyone who wishes to use Kompact AI. Kompact AI redefines AI development on top of CPUs by eliminating the dependency on GPUs. It solves the problem of inference and fine-tuning for Lange Language Models with up to 50 B parameters on top of CPUs, with no performance degradation.

We recommend you read this privacy policy to understand our approach to using your data. This policy explains the what, how, and why of the information we collect when you use KAI.

Kompact. AI's privacy policy refers to the product offered by us, which is a usable application distributed via its website or other resources.

By using Kompact AI distributed by Ziroh Labs Inc. and the services provided by Kompact.AI, you agree to use the information as described in this privacy policy.

Use of Email Address and Files:

Kompact.AI may request your email address to open an account when you attempt to use our product. All your email identifier data will be considered as your privileged information.

We will delete all your data if you delete your Kompact.AI account. Kompact.AI may use your email ID to contact you with news and updates about our products.

Data Collection

The overriding policy ensures a private and anonymous user experience.

Kompact.AI user data collection is limited to the following data:

  1. Account creation: We do not require personal information, such as your name, contact number, or any other details, to create an account. Should you choose to provide it, it shall be considered privileged information and shared only with your consent. We do associate your email address with your account.
  2. Account activity: Your activity with the Kompact.AI servers is recorded.
  3. Communicating with Kompact.AI: Your communications with Kompact.AI, including sales and support requests, bug reports, and feature requests, are retained and may be stored by our staff.
  4. IP Logging: Kompact.AI's policy does NOT log any IP information.

Data use

Kompact.AI services do not require any form of registration to visit our website and do not have any advertising on our site. We will not sell, share, or distribute your data to any third party. Any data we have will never be shared except under the circumstances described below in Data Disclosure.

Data Disclosure

Kompact.AI will only disclose the limited user data we possess if we receive an enforceable court order from any competent court in the State of California, USA.

Data Storage

At Kompact.AI, we recognise our responsibility to protect the information you provide or keep with us. Only the employees of Kompact.AI and hosting partners have physical or other access to Kompact.AI servers. To provide you with the services, Kompact.AI stores and processes information locally on your devices.

Data is ALWAYS stored in encrypted format on our servers. Off-site backups are stored periodically and are also fully encrypted.

Data Retention

When a Kompact.AI account is closed, data is immediately deleted. If you delete your account, we'll also delete all data about your account. However, please note that (1) there may be some latency in deleting this information from our servers and backups. Storages; and (2) we may retain this information if necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

Security

The server on which data or personal information is stored will be kept in a controlled environment with limited access. Moreover, your data is always encrypted using either AES-256 GCM or Fully Homomorphic Encryption techniques at any storage location and SSL/TLS during data transfer.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction:

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Santa Clara County, California, United States of America, and each party agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of, and venue in, the courts in Santa Clara County, San Francisco, California, in any dispute arising out of or relating to this Agreement.

Changes to Privacy Policy

Kompact.AI reserves the right to review and change this policy periodically. All users will be notified at their registered email address whenever our Privacy Policy changes.

If Kompact.AI is involved in reorganising, merging, acquiring, or selling our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that deal. We will notify you (for example, via a message to the email address associated with your account) of any such deal and outline your choices in that event. Please check our privacy policy regularly.
