SBOX — SOVEREIGN AI INFRASTRUCTURE

AI your most sensitive
environments can
trust.

Kompact AI SBox is built for environments where data sovereignty is non-negotiable. Full-scale AI inference — text, speech, vision, and multimodal — running entirely within your infrastructure. Air-gapped, sovereign, and fully offline capable. On your hardware. Under your rules. No external dependencies of any kind.

Kompact AI SBox Infrastructure

Runs on any CPU you already own

Intel, AMD, or ARM — on your data centre servers, workstations, edge devices, or cloud tenancy. No new hardware, no specialised setup.

Your data never moves

Every input, output, and interaction log stays within your environment. Complete ownership of your data and IP — no third-party access, ever.

Sovereign and Air-Gapped Ready Icon

Sovereign and air-gapped ready

Designed for environments that cannot connect to external networks. SBox runs fully offline — no calls home, no licence checks requiring internet, no external dependencies of any kind.

Compliant by design Icon

Compliant by design

Built to align with data sovereignty regulations, national security frameworks, and institutional data governance policies across every jurisdiction.

No AI opacity Icon

No AI opacity

Know exactly which model ran, which version produced which output, and what happened at every step. Full traceability for audit, governance, and accountability.

Most AI platforms were built for connectivity.
Not every environment has it — or should.

Governments, defence organisations, critical infrastructure operators, and regulated enterprises run in environments where external connectivity is either restricted, prohibited, or a liability.

Most AI platforms assume a connection to the internet. SBox does not.

SBox is built for environments where data sovereignty is non-negotiable — where air-gaps are policy, not preference, and where the consequences of a data breach or external dependency go well beyond a compliance fine.

Every model runs inside your perimeter. Every inference happens on hardware you control. Nothing reaches out. Nothing leaks out.

ACADEMIC USECASES

Built for environments where data
sovereignty is not optional.

SBox runs text, speech, vision, and multimodal models — fully offline, fully within your perimeter — configurable to the most sensitive and restricted operational environments.

Government Sector

Government and public sector AI

Deploy AI across government departments, ministries, and public agencies on existing CPU infrastructure — fully within national boundaries, fully compliant with data localisation mandates.

e.g. A ministry deploys an AI document processing system on existing servers — fully air-gapped, zero data crossing national or organisational boundaries.
Defence & Security

Defence and national security

Run AI inference in classified or restricted environments where external connectivity is prohibited. SBox operates entirely offline with no external calls of any kind.

e.g. An intelligence unit runs multilingual document analysis on air-gapped hardware – no internet connection, no external licence server, no data exposure.
Critical Infrastructure

Critical infrastructure

Deploy AI for real-time monitoring, anomaly detection, and operational analysis across power grids, water networks, and transport hubs on industrial edge servers.

e.g. A national grid operator runs real-time anomaly detection entirely on local servers — zero data sent to external cloud platforms.
Regulated Enterprise

Regulated enterprise & financial

Run AI inference within tightly governed corporate perimeters requiring complete data sovereignty, audit traceability, and strict regulatory compliance.

e.g. A central bank runs risk-assessment models entirely within its own data centre — full compliance with banking and data sovereignty regulations.
Healthcare AI

Healthcare and clinical research

Process patient EHR records, diagnostic imaging, and clinical research data strictly within hospital perimeters — zero third-party data access or cloud transfer.

e.g. A national health agency runs AI diagnostics across 50 hospitals, all on-premise — complete patient privacy and data sovereignty guaranteed.
Legal & Judiciary

Legal, judiciary, and law enforcement

Perform document analysis, case research, and transcript summarisation with guaranteed zero third-party data access, external logging, or model retraining.

e.g. A judiciary system runs AI-assisted case summarisation on internal servers only — complete confidentiality for sensitive legal proceedings.

COMPLIANCE & GOVERNANCE

Designed for environments where data
sovereignty is policy, not preference.

No external data transfer

All processing — model inference, input handling, output generation — happens inside your environment. Data never reaches Kompact AI or any third party. In air-gapped deployments, nothing leaves the physical boundary of your infrastructure.

No external model training

Your data is never used to retrain or improve any model. Operational data, documents, and interactions stay within your environment — they do not leave or improve anyone else's systems.

Fully offline licensing

SBox does not require an internet connection for licensing validation or operation. Suitable for environments where external network access is prohibited by policy or physical constraint.

Role-based access control

AuthN and AuthZ built in. Control exactly which teams and systems can access which models and outputs — down to the individual user level across every deployment.

Complete model traceability

Every AI output is traceable to the exact model version that produced it. Every interaction is logged. Full audit trail for regulatory review, security accountability, and internal governance.

Built for the strictest data sovereignty frameworks in the world

SBox is designed for organisations that cannot afford ambiguity about where their data goes. In a standard deployment, your data stays within your infrastructure. In an air-gapped deployment, your data never crosses a physical or network boundary. Either way, Kompact AI never sees it, never stores it, and never uses it.

Whether you operate under national data localisation mandates, defence security classifications, healthcare privacy regulations, or institutional governance policies the architecture is the same: your data stays with you, on hardware you control, in an environment you define.

FAQS

Common questions.

What does air-gapped deployment actually mean for SBox?
In an air-gapped deployment, SBox runs entirely on hardware within a physically or network-isolated environment. There are no external API calls, no licence validation requiring internet access, no telemetry sent externally, and no model updates pulled from outside. Everything required to operate is contained within your environment from the point of installation.
Does SBox require an internet connection at any point?
No. SBox is designed to operate entirely offline. Installation can be done via local media or an internal network. Once deployed, SBox requires no external connectivity for inference, operation, or licensing.
What hardware does SBox run on?
SBox runs on Intel AMX, AVX-512, ARM SVX, and AMD processors — the CPUs already in most data centres, edge deployments, and field hardware. No specialised AI hardware required. Compatible with Ubuntu, Red Hat, CentOS, Fedora, and Suse.
Can we run multiple departments or agencies from a single deployment?
Yes. SBox supports multi-tenancy through built-in JWT tokens. Multiple departments, agencies, or operational units can each access isolated model instances from a single deployment with no cross-contamination of data or access.
How does SBox handle model updates in an air-gapped environment?
Model updates are delivered as packaged updates that can be transferred via approved internal media, USB, internal network, or secure transfer process. No internet connection is required to receive or apply updates.
Does SBox integrate with our existing tools and frameworks?
Yes. SBox exposes OpenAI-compatible REST APIs, which means any framework or tool built for OpenAI, LangChain, n8n, LiteLLM, Flowise, and 30+ others works with SBox without custom integration work.
What does it cost to operate at scale?
SBox runs on existing CPU infrastructure with no additional power draw and no per-query billing. Licensing scales with your deployment, not your usage. The larger the deployment, the more you save versus cloud-based or GPU-dependent alternatives.
